Jenny Sung, resident in the Silicon Valley office, specializes in preparing and prosecuting patent applications and counseling clients on various intellectual property matters. Ms. Sung also performs technical analysis in patent litigation and handles due diligence aspects of corporate transactions that involve transfer of intellectual property. Ms. Sung has patented and prosecuted technologies in a broad range of mechanical, electromechanical, and chemical arts including display devices, semiconductor fabrication process, wireless technology, data storage and management systems, cleaning/disinfecting products, nanotechnology, and optical devices.

Prior to joining MacPherson Kwok Chen & Heid, Ms. Sung was a senior associate at DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary LLP. During her undergraduate studies, Ms. Sung was involved in researching interactions between proteins in a mixture. Ms. Sung is registered to practice with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is a member of the California Bar.

Ms. Sung is fluent in Korean.
