Alma P. Levy has extensive experience in all aspects of intellectual property matters including the development, protection, and management of intellectual property rights. Ms. Levy has prepared and prosecuted domestic and foreign patent applications primarily in the electrical, software, Internet, and mechanical arts. In addition, Ms. Levy has drafted and negotiated numerous intellectual property agreements including government contracts, and has been involved in all phases of litigation cases. Ms. Levy is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Levy was in-house intellectual property counsel at Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne. Ms. Levy is a former associate of the law firms Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver & Hedges; Brobeck Phleger & Harrison; and Graham & James. In addition, Ms. Levy was an Extern to the Honorable Terry J. Hatter, U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

Ms. Levy worked as a Project Engineer at The Aerospace Corporation for ten years where she was involved in the design, development, testing and systems integration of power systems for classified satellites. Ms. Levy attended law school while working full time at The Aerospace Corporation. Ms. Levy was an astronaut candidate finalist.

Ms. Levy is fluent in Spanish.
