Jason Gonder, resident in the San Jose office, represents clients in intellectual property law including trademark litigation, prosecution, licensing, and enforcement, copyright litigation, patent litigation, domain name disputes, and intellectual property counseling and strategic planning. Mr. Gonder also represents clients in all areas of general commercial litigation. Mr. Gonder has participated extensively in all pre-trial phases of trademark and patent litigation in federal courts in California, New York, Illinois, Texas, and Georgia and has participated in appeals before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second and Eleventh Circuits.

Mr. Gonder earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he was an editor of the Stanford Law Review. He received his B.A. in Linguistics from the University of Rochester. Mr. Gonder is a member of the New York Bar.

Mr. Gonder is admitted to practice in all state courts in New York, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Prior to joining MacPherson Kwok Chen & Heid LLP, Mr. Gonder worked as an intellectual property and litigation associate at the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy. Mr. Gonder has represented clients in a wide array of matters, including prosecution of trademark applications, trademark litigation, trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings in the Patent and Trademark Office, patent litigation, copyright litigation, domain name disputes, and due diligence investigations.
